Description

Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative was founded in 1991 to provide technical assistance to managers of privately-owned grazing lands. This work is performed through “coalitions of individuals and organizations functioning at the local, state, regional and national levels. The coalitions include livestock producer organizations, scientific and professional grazing resource organizations, conservation and environmental groups, and state and federal natural resource and agriculture agencies”.

The GLCI

  • Holds an annual “National Conference on Grazing Lands”
  • Publishes a newsletter
