Description
Native Prairies Association of Texas was founded in 1986. It is a nonprofit, membership organization and land trust that:
- protects 8 locations covering over 1200 acres of native Texas prairie, including over 100 acres of endangered/threatened tallgrass prairie
- has large organizational and scientific boards
- works with landowners to create conservation easements
- publishes online blogs and newsletters
- conducts other educational programs
